Heart of Florida United Way (HFUW) adheres to stringent financial reporting requirements to ensure accountability and transparency. Each year, HFUW undergoes an audit by an independent CPA firm and files the Form 990 with the IRS. The audit report and Form 990 are reviewed by the HFUW Finance Committee and approved by the HFUW Board of Directors. The latest audit was completed for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009 and the financial statements fairly and accurately present the financial position of HFUW.
