Calling All Volunteers!

United Way Days of Caring
Friday, Sept. 24

Want to Make a difference? Interested in a great turn-key volunteer opportunity for your office or organization?

Then mark your calendars for United Way Days of Caring - Central Florida's largest community-wide volunteer event, which benefits local nonprofit organizations and the clients they serve.

Last year, nearly 1,700 volunteers from our region's leading companies took part in this team-building event that also provides a great opportunity to LIVE UNITED and give back to the community.

Company Benefits:

  • Free, turn-key opportunity to help the community
  • Team-building and morale-boosting experience for participants
  • Provides a better understanding of community needs and importance of volunteerism
  • Great way for companies to kick off their United Way campaigns

Types of Projects:

  • Reading to children or hosting a game day for at-risk teens
  • Landscaping, painting, cleaning or organizing projects
  • Hosting parties for seniors
  • Let us design something just for you - opportunities are as varied as your interests

Investing in Community:

All projects support United Way's efforts to improve lives and community conditions by focusing on these four priority areas:
  • Building Safe Communities
  • Improving Financial Stability
  • Developing Healthy Children and Families
  • Alleviating Hunger and Homelessness
