What is Days of Caring?
Days of Caring is a community event that gives volunteers the opportunity to lend a hand to those in need while providing an excellent team building project for your employees. Days of Caring volunteer projects will be completed on Friday, September 21. This hands-on, group volunteer activity offers a range of projects created to help community members served by United Way agencies in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties.
Why should your company participate in Days of Caring 2007?
Groups and companies participate in Days of Caring each year to:
· Learn first-hand how your support is helping those in need
· Provide a team-building and morale-boosting experience to employees and other participants
· Kickoff your Heart of Florida United Way Campaign
What types of projects need volunteer help?
You can help with cooking breakfast for seniors, mini home makeovers for the visually impaired, a game day for at-risk teens, garden planting for local agencies and many other rewarding volunteer opportunities.
