In 2024, we are celebrating our 85th anniversary, commemorating more than eight decades of unwavering dedication to the Central Florida community.
Over the last 85 years, we have supported our community as our country has weathered wars, recessions, and a once-in-a-century pandemic. Close to home, we have helped our Central Florida neighbors navigate the aftermath of the Pulse shooting, dozens of hurricanes, and so much more.
If you have contributed to our mission at any time in the last eight and a half decades, whether as a donor, volunteer, board member, employee, or otherwise, you are part of a legacy that spans generations.
Yet, as we reflect on our past, we recognize that 85 years is just the beginning. Our next chapter is set to be bolder, brighter, and better than ever. We are breaking barriers, closing gaps, finding new ways to make a direct impact, and lighting the way toward a more equitable future.
Our 85th anniversary officially celebration kicked off at the Change Maker Impact Awards on January 23rd, when we gathered at the Orlando Museum of Art to celebrate Change Makers who have made a positive impact on the Central Florida community.
But it doesn’t stop there. As our celebration continues through the next 18 months, we invite you to join us for special events and unique opportunities to stand up for every person in our community.
