Be inspired by a letter to Women United members from the co-chairs of the 17th annual Women United Luncheon, presented by Walt Disney World® Resort.
Read on for a message from Laura Richeson, APR and Ana Carolina Salazar.
As we approach Women’s History Month in March and several significant milestones and events in our community, we are writing to express gratitude for the tremendous effort you have put forth in making the 17th Annual Women United Luncheon a success this year. Seeing how dedicated you are to this important cause is truly inspiring.
As you already know, the event is set for April 2 and features keynote speaker Dominique Dawes, a three-time Olympian and Olympic gold medalist. Now’s the time to turn up the heat to ensure we fill the room and meet our fundraising goal of $250,000.
Here’s the big ask for easy ways for you to help the committee in this effort. Remember, together, we make a difference!
Share Your Story
We would love to hear more about why you joined Women United and what motivates you to be a part of this movement. If you could share your story on social media, it would help us spread the word about this committee’s positive impact on the community.
Sponsors Needed
Do you know two or three contacts, businesses, or companies that would make great event sponsors? Please send these contacts to Rossana Woodford, Director of Donor Engagement by February 29, and we will be happy to discuss the opportunities with them to join the cause as a sponsor.
Learn more about sponsorship opportunities here.
Spread The Word
Please help us spread the word by sharing this event (and your story) on social media to increase sponsorships and ticket sales. Use the hashtags #LiveUnited, #WomenUnited, and #VivirUnidos.
Plus, we have created an event on Facebook and LinkedIn, so please invite your network.
All event details can be found here.
We are grateful for your support and believe that we can positively impact the lives of individuals and families in Central Florida.
Thank you for all that you do!
Sincerely,
Laura & Ana Carolina
