Volunteers are at the core of what we do each and every day. Without them, United Way and other non-profit organizations could not make the impact in the community that we do. Our volunteers give their time and talents to make Central Florida a better place.
On July 19, 2016, we will be hosting the 3rd annual Community Volunteer Excellence Awards, a special event recognizing the work of volunteers from different organizations across the region. The reception and awards ceremony will take place at the John & Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center at 5:30 p.m.
Nominations Are Closed
Volunteers from any nonprofit, government or educational organization serving Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties are considered eligible. Winners will be chosen by a panel of independent judges. All winners will receive a commemorative award and will be recognized at the award ceremony and reception on July 18. All nominees will receive a certificate of their nomination. Refreshments will be served.
