Meet Natasha Myers, Account Executive at the Orlando Business Journal. She is a part of the Women United® Engagement Committee and is passionate about building long-lasting relationships and helping people advance their careers.
Q: When did you join Women United®?
A: Fall, 2022
Q: What inspires you as a woman+ professional?
A: Historically, women have been underrepresented in the business world. Recently, I have had the opportunity to attend many women-focused conferences, events and leadership activities that have showcased successful women leaders within our community. While we still have a way to go in growing representation for women+ in the professional world, I am inspired by the strong women leaders in our community and the organizations that are committed to making sure women+ will always have a seat at the table.
Q: What’s your favorite part about being in Women United®?
A: My favorite part about being in Women United® is developing lasting friendships with inspirational, diverse, and successful women leaders in our community.
Q: What’s been your favorite Women United® event/experience, and why?
A: It is impossible to choose just one Women United® event or experience, but one that stands out is Reignite. The Women United family is filled with hard-working and successful women in the community and Reignite is a great way for us to sit back, relax, recharge, and reflect on what drives us.
Q: What’s your favorite way to unwind?
A: My favorite way to unwind after a long and stressful day is to sit on the couch, turn on a scary movie, and crack open a can of lime Bublé seltzer water.
Q: What’s the greatest advice you’ve ever received?
A: My Publisher and Mentor, Anne-Marie Hayward has always told me “Never say no until you know what you’re saying no to”.
